Great Dog Kennel!
We have been using Waggs n' Naggs for
over 2 years to care for our Afghan
Hound while out of town. There are 5 private quarters in an enclosed area,
each with an accessible run for the dog
to go outdoors. Also, there are two
outdoor large separated areas that are
fenced for the dogs to run and have
supervised play. I feel very confident
leaving my dog here as I know she is so
well cared for by the owner, Jan
Petersen. My dog also has her own
privacy, and, yet she has plenty of
space to run, play and socialize. This
is the best place we have ever seen and

"I highly recommend Waggs and Nags for your dog sitting needs. I have used
Jan Petersen's service for two years as a place to care for my dog Rocky
when I travel. She provides incredible care for my dog at a very reasonable
price. I've used other services including dog sitters in my home and other
kennels; but none have compared to Jan's Nags and Waggs. My dog Rocky is a
lab/great dane mix and needs a lot of regular exercise. At Jan's, he can
have a comfortable warm, dry kennel that gives him access to his own outdoor
exercise area, plus regular daily runs in her beautiful fenced in meadow and
lots of socialization with other well cared for dogs. When I return from my
travels, I find a happy, satisfied dog who's had a vacation of his own in
the best doggy resort in the area. I know your dog will love a stay at Waggs
and Nags and you will have the peace of mind knowing your pet is lovingly
cared for by an experienced professional."

We have been bringing our dog
to Waggs n' Naggs for years.
When we pick Patches up, she
looks happy, and promptly falls
soundly asleep for at least a
day. The country air seems to
agree with her, as well as Jan’s
kindness. We never feel guilty
about leaving Patches behind –
we know she will be well cared
for, and returned to us in good
health.

I have nothing but
wonderful things to say
about Jan and Waggs N'
Naggs. My dog, Delilah,
is definitely a family
member and before
meeting Jan I never
thought I would board
her at at kennel.
However now I have been
boarding her with Jan
for 5 years. I always
know she is in good
hands with Jan and I can
go out of town with my
mind at ease that my dog
is well taken care
of. Jan is warm,
competent, and a delight

I can leave my dog with confidence, knowing
that he is in a safe, comfortable
environment, and is well taken care of while
at Waggs N' Naggs.
Jan is terrific! Always accommodating with
drop off and pick up times, cares about her
"boarders" and their humans, most
professional as well.
The first and only option for our dog when
we are away.

When I returned to this
area two years ago with my
Rhodesian Ridgeback mix I
investigated a number of
local boarding facilities
including visiting each in
person. All fell short for
one reason or another until
my dogs trainer, Barbara
DeGroot, recently named
national dog trainer of the
year recommended Wagg's and
Nagg's. When I visited the
facility I was immediately
impressed by the strikingly
beautiful and spacious
grounds. Upon closer
inspection I was very
pleased to discover the
kennels were in small,
medium and large sizes with
attached private, separate
runs wherein the dogs could
go in and out as they
wished. No other facility
had this private
indoor/outdoor option. Next
I learned the dogs also had
access to large fields where
they can run and play. These
fields are securely fenced
preventing any chance of
escape, an important
consideration when deciding
on a facility. Jan Petersen,
the owner/operator impressed
as a caring, competent
individual who I quickly
felt I could trust. I have
no guilt when I leave my dog
at Wagg's and Nagg's because
it's become clear she like's
to go, and looks at her stay
as a vacation! I feel
fortunate to have found this
quality facility.

Hey Jan, wanted to let you know that
Pepper loves the water now! I don't
know what you did last weekend, but she
absolutely loves water. I took her to
a river today to play alongside another
water loving dog. She was bounding
through the water and going deep to retrieve
sticks! Absolute miracle. This
is the dog that would walk away when other
dogs were shaking water off, she was that
afraid of water. Thank you for
providing such a great environment for my
dog to play last weekend and enjoy your lil'
creek!
